Welcome new international students

The School of Health Sciences welcomes the 12 new exchange students in nursing and social work from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany and Tanzania.

For the first time the international exchange students participated in the Swedish students´ kick off week which contributes greatly to establishing many new friendships between the international and Swedish students from the start of the semester. The members and the president Anna-Karin Lidén of the international student association of the School of Health Sciences S.U.S.H.I.  have organised these social activities.

- I saw many happy faces when the international health students went on their first sightseeing bus tour of Jönköping and Huskvarna organised by Jönköping municipality and Destination Jönköping and hope to see even more happy faces at the international welcome dinner for the international health students and their contact teachers and teachers. The dinner will be held at the university conference centre Mariedal on 7 september at 18:30pm, says Karl Hedman, the director of international relations of the School of Health Sciences.
