Associate Professor Martin Andersson has been granted 15 million from the Swedish Research Council Formas to build up a research group on Regional Economics and Rural Development.
The purpose of the grant is to promote young, promising researchers who have the potential and ambition to be the research leaders of the future.


The Summer Programme at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) offers courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
The main goal of the summer programme, which is a fee-based programme, is to provide students with academic and applied knowledge, to experience an international environment and to provide knowledge of the Swedish culture.
Undergraduate level courses
Date: June 4 to June 29, 2012
Graduate level course
Date: August 6 to August 17, 2012
In addition to the courses, students have the opportunity to experience Swedish culture through cultural and social activities included in the programme. JIBS is a leading business school in Scandinavia with a special focus on entrepreneurship, business renewal and internationalisation. Main research areas are business administration, economics, political science, commercial law and informatics.
The summer programme is taught in conjunction with the Centre for Innovation Systems, Entrepreneurship and Growth (CISEG), The Centre of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CeLS) and the Centre for Family Enterprise and Ownership (CeFEO).
