Course Contents
The course contents present basic knowledge of electronic commerce from the three academic disciplines of marketing, law and informatics. Each discipline encompasses one third of the course.The discipline of marketing covers the electronic commerce business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets with a focus on new aspects of marketing and business models brought by the Internet.
The discipline of law considers the main areas related to electronic commerce, such as contract law, consumer protection, intellectual property rights and taxation.
The discipline of informatics covers electronic commerce infrastructure, the principles for electronic payments, interface design and the consequences of electronic commerce on business communication.
