As a member of staff at Jönköping University, you can request books, including those that are not out on loan, directly from your computer and have them sent to your internal mail box at your school. Click on request in the item information of the bibliographic record in our catalog and we will handle your loan expediently.

The Library arranges a doctoral studies course on information retrieval and scholarly communication, and a course in the reference management programme EndNote. The Library also holds a lecture in the course Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

The University Library provides information search skills education for students. It is planned in consultation with the teacher concerned in order for it to be well-suited for the educational level and well integrated with the curriculum. According to university policy, researchers and postgraduate students should register their publications in the digital institutional repository DiVA. The University Library provides support and offers individual guidance or guidance in groups on how to register in DiVA.

As a researcher, you probably want the widest distribution of your research as possible. Therefore, a part of your publishing strategy might consist of publishing Open Access, that is, making your publications freely available by selecting an Open Access journal. You can also choose to parallel publish your work. The University Library offers help in checking copyright rules, as well as producing the often mandatory cover page for parallel published articles.
