Talking books

Students with reading and writing disabilities, visual impairment or other functional impairments can borrow talking books through the University Library.

How do I borrow talking books?

Students can borrow talking books from TPB (The Swedish Library of Talking Books and Braille) by downloading them from their digital archive. In order to request a new title, you must first apply for a user ID. Turn to one of the library's contact persons to be registered.

You can also get help from the University Library to have talking books downloaded to a CD.

Production of new talking books

If the mandatory course literature is not yet available as a talking book, the library's contact persons can help you order the production of the title you need. Please, take into account that the production of a new title takes approximately two months, so you have to be in good time.

In order to order new books you must have a user ID at TPB. You apply for this from the co-ordinator for students with disabilities.

If you need help with book chapters, compendia, or journal articles, please turn to the contact persons at the library.
