Skapa länkar till artiklar och böcker

Här beskrivs hur du skapar permanenta länkar till publikationer i bibliotekets databaser.

Läs detta först

  • När du vill skapa länkar till publikationer i bibliotekets databaser fungerar det oftast inte att kopiera den länk som du ser i webbläsarens adressfält. Det finns flera skäl.
  • Länken (URL:en) ska i de flesta fall börja med ett så kallat proxyprefix (http://login.bibl.proxy.hj.se/login?url=). Prefixet gör att länken fungerar även utanför högskolans nätverk.
  • I vissa databaser används DOI. Det står för Digital Object Identifier och är ett identifikationsnummer för elektroniska dokument.
  • När du konstruerat en länk enligt nedan, testa den innan du anger den i en referenslista.
  • Biblioteket kan inte garantera att länkar skapade med hjälp av denna guide fungerar för alltid. Ett byte av plattform hos en databasleverantör kan medföra att länkar slutar att fungera, och dessa ändringar ligger utanför bibliotekets kontroll. Guiden uppdateras dock med jämna mellanrum.   1. Search for the article and click on the title.
  2. In the right column, see "Permalink". Copy the URL.

  2. Case 1: In the reference you will find the DOI Bookmark. Copy the URL.

  1. Case 2: If the DOI Bookmark is missing, copy the URL from the address field in the web browser.

  2. In the reference there is a field heading that says Persistent link to this record. Copy the URL.

  1. Copy the DOI in the results list or abstract view.

  1. Search for the article and click on Fulltext.
  2. Copy the URL as it is. In this case, the proxy prefix shall not be added, since the material is freely available.

  1. Search for the book and click on the title.
  2. Copy the URL as it appears in the browser's address field.
  3. Remove all information that follows after the docID (In this example, the bold text: http://site.ebrary.com/lib/jonhh/docDetail.action?docID=10229839&p00=rumsey)
  4. Add: http://login.bibl.proxy.hj.se/login?url=

Example:

  1. Search for the title and click on Abstract.
  2. In table with document information, See DOI. Right click and copy the URL.

  1. Search for the book in full text.
  2. Choose the page you want to link to. Thus, you can choose to link to a different page than the first.
  3. Click on the link icon above the publication. Holding the mouse pointer over the icon will bring up a text that says Permanent Link To This Page.
  4. Copy the URL.
  5. Add: http://login.bibl.proxy.hj.se/login?url=

  1. Search for the publication and and click on the title.

  1. Search for the publication and choose Abstract.
  2. Copy DOI.

  1. Note! In some cases DOI is missing in the Abstract view. Then do as follows.
  2. After having chosen Abstract: copy the URL in the address field of the web browser.
  3. Now, delete any superfluous information in the URL. The URL should be finished with a slash and a number indicating the page number of the article. After this, delete everything.
  4. Add: http://login.bibl.proxy.hj.se/login?url=
