The course aims to provide students with knowledge of classical physics and its engineering applications,and computer simulation as a tool for solving practical engineering problems.
The course covers the following topics:
- Classical physics
- Technical applications related to classical physics
Laboratory sessions will provide hands-on experience with simulation tools used by research and development
staff and design engineers in industries, for example:
MatLab and Simulink from Mathworks, Flotherm from Mentor Graphics, Abaqus FEA from Simulia,
Wire-MoM from SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden.

High school physics or equivalent knowledgeLinear algebra 7,5 hp and Mathematical analysis 7,5 hp
