Applied Web Architecture 9 Credits

Course Contents

The course contains web techniques that merge and deepen knowledge from earlier courses in connection with handling of data bases. As an important part of this new as well old knowledge will be applied in a larger project.

The course contains the following elements:
- Web based system architecture and system design for e-commerce web sites
- Information design and creating structure using UML
- Web programming and API programming using a suitable programming language
- Basic theory of relation databases and normalization
- Web techniques for database connection
- Integration of an e-commerce web site in an existing business

Prerequisites

General entry requirements and attendance at the courses i Web programming and user interface, 9 hp and Client programming with Javascript, 6 hp
