Beginning in fall semester 2011, all the Swedish higher education institutions will introduce application and tuition fees for students from countries outside EU, EES and Switzerland.
It is only for education at undergraduate and advanced level the tuition fees will apply, not for studies at Doctoral level. Students may not have access to a course unless appropriate fees are paid. The tuition fee will cover the full cost of your studies.
The tuition fees for the Bachelor programme at the School of Health Sciences is SEK 20 000 for the first semester and the total cost for the programme is SEK 90 000.
For the Master programmes the tuition fee is SEK 30 000 for the first semester. The total cost for the programme is SEK 120 000.
The tuition fee will be charged in advance for each semester.
There are some exceptions for the tuition fees. If you have started your programme in Sweden before July 1 2011, you are allowed to finished that programme without paying tuition fees. Student who are a part of an Exchange programme will not pay fees.
