Studying at HLK

The School of Education and Communication (HLK) offers courses in English, primarily in fields of Media and Communication Sciences and Teacher Education.

Many of our undergraduate courses are about Media and Communication Sciences and Teacher Education, as well as other subjects including Swedish language for beginners. The courses run during the autumn or spring semester.

Students admitted to courses in English do not require any knowledge of Swedish, although a good command of English is essential.

The School of Education and Communication mainly accept exchange students with two years of prior Media and Communication Studies or Teacher Education Studies. Free-movers with the same background of studies can be accepted as long as places are available within the course or courses applied for.
