Accommodation & Arrival

The School of Education and Communication is located in the city centre. The accommodation alternatives that are offered to international students are all located within 25 minutes by public transport from the University.

The Accommodation Office recommends new arriving international students to apply for housing through the University and make use of the accommodation guarantee. There is a general housing shortage in Jönköping, hence, in competition with Swedish students it can be difficult to find housing by yourself.

Students will be presented with accommodation upon arrival; unfortunately the accommodation office will be unable to provide this information in advance. This is due to the fact that administrative changes can sometimes be made until the final days before the students arrive.

Jönköping University is located in the city Centre. The accommodation alternatives that are offered to international students are all located within 30 minutes travel by public transport from the university.

Under certain circumstances students will be offered accommodation alternatives different from those listed in the accommodation and arrival application.
