Internationalisation

Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) is the most international business school in Sweden with the largest study abroad programme of any Swedish business school. In some programmes 85 percent of our students study abroad at one of our partner universities for at least one semester. Many students study abroad for two or even three semesters.

In order to accept and integrate international students into JIBS, most of our courses are delivered in English. These courses are completely integrated with both international students from around the world and our own Swedish students. Furthermore, the programmes that we offer have an international focus. We also have a number of permanent international faculty and a high degree of international guest professors who are here anywhere from a couple of days to an entire semester. JIBS's permanent Swedish faculty are also rich in international experience.

Within the area of student exchange, JIBS has the most active and largest business/economics programme in Sweden in terms of exchange. The international students studying at JIBS are totally integrated with the Swedish students, taking courses together delivered in English as well as sharing apartments in the student accommodation.
JIBS also offers the possibility for international students to obtain a Master of Science degree with a major in Business Administration or Economics. In this case students do not apply through their home institution but individually and must have already completed a bachelor degree from a recognized university.

JIBS's doctoral programmes are also open for international students. Admission is done on a case by case basis.
