Doctoral Programmes

JIBS' doctoral programmes are truly international. We have doctoral students from all over the world: from North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australia and of course from all over Europe.

Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) offers five doctoral programmes, in Business Administration, Commercial Law, Economics, Informatics and Statistics.

JIBS is located in Jönköping, Sweden but its working environment is truly international. We have doctoral students, researchers and teachers that come from all over the world. We also have a regular stream of international researchers and top scholars visiting JIBS every year giving seminars and participating in doctoral courses. Our researchers and doctoral students regularly attend international conferences and congresses spreading the knowledge about our school and our doctoral programmes.

Many of our doctoral students are also members of different research centres at JIBS. Two of the largest are CeFEO - Centre for Family Enterprises and Ownership and the Media Management Centre. Both centres currently have several doctoral students engaged in centre projects and several doctors have graduated from the two centres. The centres add even more to the international agenda at JIBS by participating in the STEP-programme (CeFEO) for instance and by having sub centres started in South America and China (MMTC).
