Bachelor Programmes

Admission Requirements

All students must fulfill the general and specific admission requirements for the programme to which they are applying to be admitted to JIBS. For bachelor studies, the selection is made based on high school/upper secondary school results.

For information about application please contact info@jibs.hj.se

*Note: if you have already applied through the central admission (universityadmissions.se) you do not need to re-apply locally.

Tuition fees

Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to pay application and tuition fees. For more information, visit our FAQ section.

Required documents

  • Certified copies of High School diploma and transcripts (which entitle the student to university studies in his/her home country). *Students in their final year of high school/upper secondary school must apply with their second to last transcript. Conditional acceptance will be granted on the basis that the GPA does not drop significantly in the final semester. Students must show original documents when they arrive.
  • English proficiency- see: Language Requirements
  • Certified copy of your Passport (If you are not a citizen of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland, certification of your passport copy is not required. EU/EEA/Swiss citizens may submit a certified copy of a valid identity card which clearly states citizenship in place of a passport copy.)

The documents must be issued in the original language and in officially certified translations in English or Swedish if the documents are not originally in one of these languages. All copies of original documents must be clearly authorised as true copies of the original by the issuing institution or a notary public. Jönköping University may check the authenticity of documents with the issuing school.

Please note that National Diplomas and Higher National Diplomas from Polytechnic schools are not accepted for master studies in Sweden.
