Cost of Living

Though most students already live on a tight budget, there are ways of making your money go even further.

Students applying for a residence permit in Sweden will have to provide the Swedish Migration Board with a financial statement to prove that they will be able to support themselves financially during their entire study period in Sweden. Please note that the amount of money needed is determined solely by the Swedish Migration Board. For more information, including how to apply for a residence permit and the financial requirements, visit the Swedish Migration Board web page
