Pre-requisites :

  • Bachelor degree
  • Fluency in English equivalent to at least 550 (old scale) or 213 (new scale) TOEFL.

Developing Dynamic Family Enterprises

Academic Content:
The course deals with different organizational and family aspects of this important type of organization, including the role of the family members and owners, family and non-family managers, advisors, board members as well as employees in developing and renewing family enterprises. We explore key issues related to governance, culture, strategic development, succession, professionalization, marketing, and control in family businesses. Two very important themes that run through the course are internationalization and entrepreneurship.

Social and Cultural Content:
You will be able to discover Sweden and the region of Småland as part of the social and cultural events included in the programme. In addition social activities such as a welcome lunch, farewell dinner and evening activities will take place during the programme dates.
