JIBS conducts research through centres and institutes. Since the start in 1994 we have established a number of research environments, most of them with a strong international connection. Our centres and institutes engage people from the different departments at JIBS as well as external affiliates.
CeFEO is the first centre of this kind in Northern Europe and aims to further strengthen JIBS’s already strong reputation for excellence in research on entrepreneurship and business renewal.
The overall mission of CEnSE is to organize, support, and carry out innovative, high-quality, basic as well as policy relevant research on entrepreneurship and spatial economics, aiming at international publication in journals and books with a peer review process and in the form of dissertations.
A close collaboration between Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Canada, and Jönköping International Business School, that involves creativity research and development in Scandinavia and Europe. Enables and supports creativity-driven agendas for both regions and corporations all over the world. PIS is a part of CEnSE.
The Center for Finance and Governance (CFG) is an interdisciplinary center for financial studies and corporate governance.
CeLS focuses on research on the understanding and analyzing of alliances and networks at different levels and their exchange within and between supply chains, as well as the strategy and the development of logistics firms.
MMTC focuses on questions involving changes in media market structures, transformation and restructuring of media industries. Other topics include the blurring of boundaries traditionally separating media activities and strategic problems of media.
CESIS organizes and carries out studies of innovation systems and with a specific focus on Sweden. The centre is an organized collaboration between departments at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Jönköping International Business School and Swedish Institute for Studies in Education and Research (SISTER).
CenITIS is a multidisciplinary organization that studies and evaluates the effects of the use and implementation of advanced information systems.
The Institute for Economic Analyzes is a national centre for applied economic research within the public and private sectors of society, with the aim of becoming more international in the future. The web page is for the moment only available in Swedish.

The Institute of Foreign Law is an information centre for the Swedish law society in international commercial and tax law. The centre engages in educational issues and has contributed to an extensive foreign law book collection in the university library. The website of IUR is only presented in the Swedish language.
