
The School of Engineering focuses on preparing students for achievement in business and developing specific working methods aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises.
Courses have a broad technical knowledge base, to equip students with engineering skills and stimulate them towards gaining an entrepreneurial spirit. The programmes also provide knowledge from topic areas other than technology such as leadership, communication, business and ecology. Internationalisation and collaboration with industry are also driving principles at the school.
The host company programme gives students an excellent opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice. Master of Science programmes can be found in Informatics, Production Systems and Product Development majors. They are fully in English and open to all international students.
The School of Engineering offers Bachelor of Science programmes in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management and Mechanical Engineering majors. International exchange students may choose courses taught in English within all of the Bachelor degree programmes and Master's programmes as long as they possess the necessary prerequisites. Students are also welcome to do their final project work in Jönköping.
The Master's programmes are taught in English and open to both Swedish and international students. The duration of the programmes is two years and courses start in autumn.
The School of Engineering offers about 70 courses entirely in English, which are all open to international exchange students from our partner universities.
