Exchange

The School of Engineering has signed bilateral exchange agreements with more than 70 universities around the world. Students from these partner universities are welcome as exchange students to the School of Engineering.

Exchange student

As an exchange student you can apply to courses that are offered in English within the Bachelor's and Master's levels or to a Master of Science programme with a duration of two years.

The credit system used, is the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Our ECTS guide provides all the information that an exchange student would need.

The Academic Year

The academic year consists of the Autumn Semester, that runs from August til January and the Spring Semester, that runs from January til June. There is usually a break of two or three weeks at Christmas, when there is no formal tuition.

• Academic Calendar

Each semester is divided into two segments. A full-time study workload is 30 credits per semester, equal to 30 ECTS credits.
