Application

Exchange students must apply through the International Office at their home university. Please contact the international office at your university for further information.

Each spring the International Office sends out a brochure package to all partner universities with the International Study Broschure/ECTS Guide. The International Office will also send an information email to all coordinators with application and login information for next semester.

Prerequisites

Students have to be nominated as an exchange student by their home international office and are required to have at least one year of completed university studies. They have to meet the prerequisites for the courses to which they are applying.

Language Requirements

The language of instruction is English and the TOEFL score is not a formal requirement but the students need to have fluency in English equivalent to a 550 TOEFL score (213 score for the new scale).

When signing the student's Choice of courses confirmation to the School of Engineering, the home university guarantees the student's proficiency in English and the prerequisites mentioned above.

Application procedure

The application form is only available to students that have been nominated by our partner universities.

When the online application is submitted you must print out the choice of course confirmation, have it signed by the coordinator at your home university and mail it to the international office together with the transcript of academic records, a copy of passport and copy of insurance before the application deadline. We will mail the letter of acceptance as soon as we receive the documents mentioned above.

Deadlines

The deadlines for incoming exchange student applications:

  • Autumn semester - May 1
  • Spring semester - October 15

Students applying for projects and final project work (thesis) must apply at least two weeks before the deadlines and also enclose a project proposal.
